We are pleased to announce that Paul Tolcon has joined Castledine Gregory as a consultant lawyer.
Paul brings significant experience in native title, building and construction, dispute resolution and commercial law. His additional skills boost the firm’s core strengths in these areas. The firm offers a range of advisory and dispute resolution services, including mediation, interest-based negotiation and litigation.
Paul has over 16 years’ experience working at a mid-sized legal practice, becoming a partner there. His past experience includes acting as agent and solicitor for various land and sea councils in Western Australia, and as solicitor for a number of native title claimant groups, numerous Aboriginal corporations and incorporated bodies, the Indigenous Land Corporation and individuals.
Paul has had particular experience in native title future act matters involving consultation, mediation or litigation and providing legal and commercial assistance with mining companies and claimants in relation to future act land use and heritage protection agreements.
Paul has represented various proponents in the National Native Title Tribunal in the future act process and also acted as counsel for various claimant groups in the Federal and Supreme Courts and the Warden’s Court.
Paul has acted as counsel and solicitor in numerous construction disputes and arbitrations in the Supreme Court, State Administrative Tribunal and Building Disputes Tribunal for both building companies and developers.
